Orthopedic Surgery opportunity: Pine Bluff, AR 44 miles from Little Rock Service area of 11 counties and 220,000+ people Academic Affiliate Position Details: - Full-time- Permanent opening- Hospital-employed position- Seeking an additional Surgeon due to community demand- Currently 3 Orthopedic Surgeons and 1 Orthopedic Spine Surgeon- Group's areas of expertise: Arthroscopy, Joint Replacements, Sports Medicine, Trauma and Fractures, Shoulder & Elbows, Foot & Ankle (Bunions), and Hands (carpel tunnel, trigger finger, finger fusions)- See 15 - 20 patients per day- Call: 1:5- EMR: Allscripts- Academic affiliation: On-campus FP residency program through UAMS in Little Rock, AR with approximately 30-32 residents- No robotics- 19 surgery suites- 24 bed Ortho/Urology Unit- 27 bed IP rehab unit- 13 surgical rooms in the OR- 4 OR and 2 cysto at outpatient surgery center- 180-220 IP census Compensation - Competitive Base Salary with Bonus Potential (Based off of MGMA)- Sign-On Bonus- Loan Repayment- PTO/CME- Stipend during residency- Relocation Assistance Community: - Service area: 11 county area of Southeast Arkansas, approximately 220,000 people- Population of Pine Bluff: 50,000- Hospital is located 40 miles south of Little Rock, state capital.
