Perform routine cleaning including vacuuming; sweeping, and mopping floors; dusting, washing walls, doors, and windows, and emptying trash. Perform minor preventative maintenance and minor repairs. Assist service personnel as needed. Reports major repair and maintenance needs. Assist with snow removal.Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse floor.Cleans up any debris or spills that could become a hazard.Follows company cleaning procedures.Ensures a safe work environment.Operates floor scrubberSweeps and vacuums dock platesSweeps and mop sanitation barriers Empties trash bins from all locations in the cooler, grocery and loading dock, offices and break areas.Empties cardboard and plastic recycling and compactsKeeps all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallet wrap, labels, and paper.Removes empty pallets and clean and mop slotsDiscards leaking product and records on the reconditioning log.Reports any violation of company policy to supervisor or lead.Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for locationResponsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity.Other duties as assigned.Work in a temperature-controlled environmentranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery OperationReach and lift cleaning work aides and supplies weighing up to approximately 100 lbs.Operate large floor cleaning machine and equipment.Push and pull heavy floor cleaning machines.Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance.Stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.Perform repetitive arm movements required for cleaning procedures.Use and operate related work aides such as: brooms, dust mops, mops, mop bucketsRequired Knowledge:Understands Safety guidelinesAbility to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbersRequired:Warehouse/Operations preferred but not requiredSkills/Abilities: Understand procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
