Primary Purpose The Vice President of Sales-Events is responsible for delivering the annual revenue budget for the assigned sales territory. This position continually works to design plans that meet sales targets, driving the overall sales performance of the assigned territory. Essential Functions --- Develop annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives. Formulate and execute strategies for improvement based on sales data intelligence, market research, and competitor analysis --- Cultivate strong relationships with top customers in each market --- Work cross-functionally with the various departments, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance --- Maintain excellent communication and coordination with Director Field Sales, Inside Sales, and Customer Care centers --- Monitor and control expenditures of the region to align with budgetary requirements --- Ensure ethical business practices --- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of competitive companies --- Travel is within the states and cities that comprise the Region and requires overnight durations. Travel is more than 50% --- Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications --- Sales Process/Methodologies - Clearly understands the elements of a sales process and implementation within USS --- Strong CRM User - conduct monthly pipeline reviews with sales reps to review activity and opportunity pipeline vs targets --- Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems efficiently; gathers and analyzes information; develops solutions; uses reason, with a bias to execute quickly --- Project Management - Develops project plans; coordinates projects; communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time and budget; manages project team activities --- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality --- Adaptability - Evolves to meet changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; handles change, delays, or unexpected events --- Other required skills: Meeting Sales Goals, Motivation for Sales, Territory Management, Presentation Skills, Performance Management, Building Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Negotiation, Results Driven, Sales Planning, Managing Profitability Physical Requirements |
