Job/Role Description



--- This individual will serve as a critical resource in the day-to-day development and maintenance of the data warehouse and related reporting solutions
--- Will work closely with business users, project teams, and other IT resources to ensure the successful design, development, and implementation of data warehouse and data mart solutions.
--- Experience with ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, or similar is essential Description of Responsibilities
--- Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to support business decisions
--- Working closely with vendors, customers, application development project teams, and business analysts to resolve content and information flow issues
--- Identifying opportunities for data reuse
--- Keeps abreast of new Tools & Technology and functionalities across the application(s).
--- Works closely with customers, vendors, business analysts and application development project teams to resolve information flow and content issues.
--- Ensure data integrity and compliance by performing data profiling and data validations.
--- Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
--- Gathers data and reporting requirements. Detects and summarizes patterns in data and findings by producing simple reports and works with development teams for problem resolutions
Key Responsibilities



--- Developing processes and procedures for data management across an organization or within the scope of a project
--- Creating software applications or designing computer programs that accomplish tasks necessary for data management and storage
--- Designing and implementing warehouse database structures
--- Developing or maintaining standards, such as structure, organization, or nomenclature, for the design of data warehouse elements
--- Providing or coordinating troubleshooting support for data warehouses Required Experience
--- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree)
--- Healthcare experience includes knowledge of EDI transactions; knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial products; understanding of ACA.
--- Experience with FACETS, IKA, PEGA and Windows and UNIX operating systems is preferred.
--- Good understanding of HIPAA data Privacy and Security requirements.
--- Experience in data warehousing, Data Mart environments.
--- Five (5) years in the position above, as a Business Systems Senior, as a Developer ERP, as a Consulting Analyst, as a Data Specialist, or in a related occupation.
--- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
--- Experience must have included two (2) years use of all the following: PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, IBM Infosphere DataStage, Erwin, ETL, PowerBI, Qlik Suite, Python, UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting, Microsoft Azure Suite and SDLC methodologies.
