Job Description

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for our cardiology department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic and inpatient cardiac patients.

  Education and Licensure Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited graduate -level Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Professional Experience Requirements:
    • At least 2+ years experience as a FNP in a cariology setting Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
      • Demonstrated clinical competency.
      • Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients
      • Manages and assists with inpatient cardiac patients and cardiac labs
      • Strong interpersonal skills.
      • Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
      • Effective interaction and care of patients
      • Documentation of medical records for accurate billing Compensation:
