Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Findlay, Ohio - Located in Findlay, OH - 45 minutes to Toledo, OH Position Details - Full-time; Permanent- We welcome residents, new grads and experienced physicians to consider our Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity- Responsible for the Level IIB Special Care Nursery - Emergency Department consults, limited outpatient medical consults - Newborn care, attendance at high risk deliveries, inpatient pediatric care - Average of 1,000 deliveries/year - Manage infants born at 32 weeks and above, CPAP, Surfactant and ventilator care - Average daily census of 12 (average of 2 pediatric inpatients, 8 well newborns and 4 special care) - Six, 24-hour shifts, 6 per 28-day block - Hospitalist service admits patients - Nationwide Childrens Hospital collaborative partnership - Offers access to pediatric specialists, pediatric research and clinical trials to NW Ohio - BVHS physicians receive advanced education, training, direct consultation with Nationwide Childrens specialists- Malpractice, health + life insurance, CME, 401k (4% match) - Local administration and decision-making- Invested leadership who seek your input About Findlay - Downtown Findlay is a blend of beautiful, historical structures bustling with retail shops, restaurants, activities and businesses- The Findlay area offers year-round recreation and cultural activities, unique cuisine and a wide range of attractions- The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA) provides a hub for the performing and visual arts- Findlay is home to the University of Findlay, Owens Community College and ,Winebrenner Theological Seminary.
