We Make Doors - Where they lead is up to you... Summary Responsible for Grading, Building, Cutting, Repairing, Painting, Buffing, Embossing, Forming, Cleaning, Pulling Doors, Prepping materials, Palletizing, Wrapping and or Packaging. May support production in the Interior, Exterior or Prehang departments. Essential functions - Measure, cut and prepare materials to build doors.
- Grade materials to meet internal and external customer specifications.
- Assemble doors following the design specification.
- Able to repair doors and frame components to meet internal and external customer specifications.
- Able to use hand tools such as hand sander to perform repairs.
- Able to paint, buff, wrap and pack doors.
- Able to emboss core for exterior doors.
- Inspect and perform quality verification and take the necessary actions.
- Pull and stack doors by schedule for customer orders.
- Hinge and weatherstrip jamb material for Prehung door systems.
- Build pallets for stock and custom orders.
- Assemble door frames on a production line.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs or team lift over 50lbs.
- Meet production standards.
- Maintain the area, equipment and machinery in a clean, orderly, and operational condition.
- Conforms with safety regulations per plant policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of safety glasses, ear plugs, masks, steel toed boots/shoes, and associated safety equipment in order to be on the plant floor
- Reports unsafe conditions immediately to appropriate supervision

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations and loud noises. All safety protocols including OSHA guidelines as mentioned above are mandatory. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and operate hand tools.
