Job Summary This position performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to create three dimensional images of tissue, organs and other body parts that are used by radiologists to detect abnormalities, make diagnoses and treat patients. The senior technologist serves as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to staff. Also assists management with supervisory responsibilities.Job Description Rotating schedule: Week 1 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 7a-7p Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 10a-10p Week 3 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 7a-7p Week 4 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 10a-10p Call Rotating every 5th week with all the Techs Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology License/Certification: - Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required
- One (1) of the following combinations required:
- Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR); or
- Registered Radiological Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) and Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Experience / Knowledge / Skills: - Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions
