Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat, and more.Shift: 10am-6pmWeekly wage: $27.38/hour.Position Summary:Responsible for assisting on the production floor and for all repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment used in the manufacturing process throughout the entire facility. Essential Functions:
Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a fast paced environment with progressively less supervision. Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment ensuring equipment is in good repair and safe operating condition Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding and plumbing activities with minimal supervision. Work in a safe manner, in compliance with Company, State and Federal GMP's, SOP's and Administrative Policy and Procedures Ability to work overtime as needed Possess own tools Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures.
Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator.
Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.
General:
Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision. Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices." Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
A High School or Trade School Diploma or equivalent Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Lock Out / Tag Out and Confined Space Entry programs. Haz-Mat Technical Level Training
SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:Support SQF by:
Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner. Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. The monitoring of incoming services Properly documenting tasks Completing Preventive Maintenance and Work Orders as required. Serves as a backup for all the other mechanics. More...
