Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer for a position supporting a government contracting firmThe Technical Writer will be required to work on-site in Arlington, VAThe Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and managing comprehensive documentation to support rapid onsite incident responses and proactive cyber threat hunting activities for a critical cybersecurity mission*This role requires an Active Secret Clearance* Responsibilities of the Technical Writer:--- Ensure all technical documents are edited and proofread to uphold high standards of accuracy and clarity, maintaining consistency across all documents.
* Continuously update and refine technical documents and drawings to reflect the latest specifications and operational procedures.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to create and review technical deliverables.
* Prepare, review, edit, and maintain a variety of program technical documents such as software and system engineering documents, CONOPS, test reports, and both user and implementation documentation.
Necessary Qualifications for the Technical Writer:--- Over 5 years of experience in technical writing, specializing in developing communication deliverables such as plans, action reports, and meeting minutes for diverse cyber audiences.
* Education: Bachelor's degree or more than 7 years of technical writing experience.--- Proficient in creating and maintaining information system security documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Ability to demonstrate hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, or similar applications.
* Strong technical writing and editing abilities, with expertise in AP Style, and a talent for transforming complex technical material into engaging, concise content.
* Capable of working effectively under pressure with various stakeholders in a dynamic cybersecurity setting, including rapid transcription of meeting discussions.
Compensation for the Technical Writer:--- Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 annually
