Advanced Fiber Products is a leader in fiberglass pultrusion with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, efficiency, and safety. The role of the Quality Technician is to ensure these goals are met through an operational and analytical focus, an attention to detail, defect detection and corrective/preventative action, and strong internal partnerships with the production department. This is a fast-paced job that requires walking, standing, and satisfactory multitasking. -

• - - - - -Perform audits for quality system, report results, and recommend process improvements
  
• -Hands on interaction with process control for dimensional and visual inspection
  
• Be able to utilize metrology equipment, (calipers, tape measure, dial indicators, and gauge blocks) to verify quality measurements, and train shop floor employees
  
• Provide quality support to shift Supervisors/Leads, and other production team members
  
• Assist with writing and updating operational procedures and work instructions
  
• Assist with corrective and preventative actions for shop floor personnel
  
• Become a key member of the AFP lean culture
  
• Other duties as assigned by Quality Manager
  High School diploma or equivalent combined with a minimum of 1-year production/manufacturing experience
  -

  - - - - - - - - Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered

  - - - - - - - - Demonstrate leadership ability, strong communication skills, and effective problem-solving skills
