Position Title: Clinical SupervisorDepartment: Program Development DepartmentReports To: Senior SupervisorPOSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As the Clinical Supervisor, you will lead our Substance Use Treatment and Field-Based Services program, ensuring the highest quality of care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders.In this role, you will provide clinical supervision to a team of substance use counselors, case managers, and outreach workers. You will collaborate with other agency departments to ensure seamless integration of services for clients. Additionally, you will develop and implement treatment plans, following evidence-based practices. Monitoring program outcomes and making necessary adjustments to improve client outcomes will be a key responsibility. Participation in agency-wide quality improvement initiatives and providing crisis intervention and support as needed are also part of this dynamic role. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Salary Range$45 - $67.50 / Hour DOEWe offer a competitive benefits package:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Care PlanLife InsurancePaid Holidays (12)Paid Vacation TimeSick Time401(k) Retirement PlanCompetitive wagesStability and career advancementContinuing Education OpportunitiesCATEGORIES OF DUTIESClinical Responsibilities shall include:Conducting assessments of patients at the time of admission and re-assessments as requiredMental status examinationsProviding appropriate diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on a review of the patients history, signs and symptomsProper documentation in the medical record of services renderedIndividual, couple/family, and group psychotherapy, as neededCrisis intervention services, including 5150 determinationsTreatment planningParticipation in medical record reviewsUtilization review activities, as requiredKnowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements (i.e., suspected abuse; Tarasoff), professional boundaries and related issues.Denials and Authorizations/Re-authorizationsOther duties as assigned by Director/Senior SupervisorSupervision/Training shall include:Providing supervision to counseling staff as deemed appropriate, including interns.Conducting performance evaluations of interns or staff, as required.In-service training to staff and/or trainees on SUD and mental health topics, as required.Administrative duties shall include:Attending clinical and administrative committee meetings, as requested.Maintaining proper documentation, as necessary, of clinical supervisionParticipating in community events, presentations, meetings, and outreach on behalf of TTCAdditional functions as specifically requested by the Clinical Director, Program Director and/or Senior Supervisor.EDUCATIONA Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology or social science.Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LCSW or MFT.EXPERIENCEMinimum of one (1) year experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis.
