An established neurosurgery group in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. Work alongside a team of board-certified surgeons. Candidates with previous surgical experience as well as recent graduates are encouraged to apply.*Responsibilities:** Full-time, permanent position - neurosurgery, brain & spine* Mix of hospital and clinic responsibilities* Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments* Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients* Prescribe medications* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care*Qualifications:** California State License* 1-2 years of surgical experience* Neurosurgery and/or surgical clinical rotation* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal* Excellent organization skills and attention to detail* Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively* Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems*Benefits:** Competitive base salary* Health insurance* 401(k)* PTO* CME allowance* Malpractice insuranceNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
