Job Description:If you are skilled Registered looking for a new opportunity to continue to grow and develop this position brings together patient care, while also providing support and training as a nurse guru for Infection Control.Salary: $50 - $60/hour, depending on experience.Higher compensation may be available for a candidate with advanced skills directly related to the applied for role.Benefit Highlights (May be prorated for Part Time):Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.17 Vacation Days, 11 Paid Holidays, 8+ Days Sick Leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked)Retirement Plan with 6% matchCME allowance, DEA fee waiver and low patient to provider ratioDuties:Coordinate and oversee the Infection Control Program in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.Conduct quarterly inspections of the Medical and Dental Departments.Provide required Infection Control education and training for all new employees.Complete new hire and annual N95 mask fit testing for all Medical Department employees.Develop and evaluate policies and procedures related to pertinent infection control matters.Provide staff and patient education related to infection control.Provide nursing coverage within the Medical pods.Experience and Skills:Qualifications:Associates degree in Nursing.Current and in good standing Registered Nurse licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.Current BLS certification.Minimum 2 years experience in acute care nursing with excellent nursing assessment skills.Prior experience in complex decision making, patient interviews and patient teaching.About Us: Chapa-De is a non-profit community outpatient health center with a mission to advance the health and well-being of American Indians and low income individuals living in our communities by providing convenient access to high quality, compassionate care.
