JOB SUMMARY The Clinical Support RN supports high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to the organization. This role provides cross coverage at multiple locations. The Clinical Support RN helps guide nurses on the hospital's standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.

• Performs rounds on nursing units to assess patient acuity and need for intervention
• Acts as a professional role model and mentor
• Identifies nursing educational needs
• Develops educational information for nursing units as needed
• Contributes to improving nurse satisfaction/engagement
• Attends rapid responses and codes as needed
