Meadow Gold Dairy seeking energetic and well-versed Hardening Room Operator. This position would perform an array of functions including operating equipment and/or performing roles in the hardening room of our ice cream facility.

Job Description
*
Load/unload stacks and move items as assigned *
Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units *
Mark or put identifying labels on product loads *
Record movement of stock in/out of work area *
Monitor materials, products, and equipment at each step of process and report irregularities to supervision *
Maintain communication with other departments, supervisors, and employees, and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production *
Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's *
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes *
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately *
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues *
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements *

High school diploma or GED preferred. *
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal *
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks *
Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
*
May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals *
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required
