DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman around Brevard County.Rate of Pay: $50K - $72K (depending on experience)Work Type: Full-timeBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insuranceBonus opportunitiesAdditional: Company Truck, Gas Card, Cell Phone80 - 90% travelMust be Bilingual (English and Spanish)Duties and Responsibilities:Lead a crew to install roof systems efficiently and safelyProvide regular coaching, training, evaluation and feedbackInfluence crew to work safely and be disciplined and efficientExamine roof and penetrations to plan jobs, and strategically assign and allocate work to crew members, taking their desires, skills and temperaments into considerationCommunicate and manage job-specific safety plans prior to the start of every job, conducting job-site audits and making alterations as conditions changeBe an active participant or leader of weekly safety meetingsPerform installation duties as necessaryMeet production and quality goalsPlan daily work goals to complete jobs on time, striking an appropriate balance between speed and qualityEnsure quality and installation according to specifications and plansSolve field application problems with a minimum amount of supervision, notifying salesperson or supervisor when a specified installation is not possibleKnow when customers have communicated specific concerns or requests and make every effort to honor their instructionsManage job sites, equipment and materialsMaintain a jobsite that complies with all safety guidelinesEnforce safety regulations with everyone on a job site, including visitors and customersInspect safety equipment and PPE before use each dayEnsure roofs are safe and watertight at the end of each day, materials and equipment are stored safely and a fire watch is in place if necessaryExhibit exemplary responsiveness and personal leadership with all field and office personnelCommunicate regularly with supervisor regarding work and personnel issuesRecord work performed dailyRequisition materials and keep accurate materials and equipment reportsParticipate in operations and customer meetings as necessaryRequired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWork skills Foremen must exhibit basic communication and roofing skills necessary to manage the complex task of roof system installationBilingual- English/SpanishCommunication the ability to communicate effectively as requiredRoof system installation the ability to execute and teach others to execute roof system installation skillsSafety and security the ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards, using equipment and materials appropriatelyQuality attention to detail and quality assurance of project and crew membersProductivity demonstrates the ability to meet and exceed standards, works quickly and accuratelyDriver's License requiredWork Location: Multiple locationsINDHyGV9gAwYKrby Jobble More...
