Ensure design compliance with all project requirements. Job ResponsibilitiesLead and possibly manage all engineering efforts for a highly complex project or projects on time and budgetEnsure design compliance with all project requirementsReview customer specifications and requirements, and manage a project team to develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variableProvide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignmentsCommunicate clearly (written and oral) with manufacturing, supply chain, program management and the customer as requiredParticipate heavily in preparation of the highly complex and significant proposalsInteract with technical management, other professionals, technicians and support personnel to coordinate, recommend and confer regarding technical activities and progressLead and may manage a project team or teams as assignedSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationAttend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetingsMentor and coach less experienced engineersOther duties as assigned Job Responsibilities Part IIProvide leadership to program or project team. Assures communication and cooperation among team members and resolves areas of conflictEnsure a timely closeout of completed programs to ensure that all obligations are satisfied, and program documentation is properly recorded.Understand and develop leading verses lagging indicatorsDevelop and execute program corrective action strategiesMay partner with various stakeholders on planning process and system improvementsDevelop and understand principles of program planning. Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fieldsDevelop and understand cash flow management principlesSupport, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
