Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, IL is looking for part and full-time CNAs!Starting pay of $20/hour for all shifts plus $2/hour weekend differentials!Summary:CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) provide direct care to meet the total needs of residents.Essential Duties:CNAs provide direct care of residents including but not limited to:Take vital signs: pulse, respiration, temperatureComplete hygiene tasks (ex: bathing, toileting, hair care, nail care)Assist with dressing residentsProvide comfort measures (ex: back rubs, application of heat & cold, turning & positioning of residents)Promptly respond to residents call lightsCollect specimens except bloodProvide rehabilitative and restorative measuresServe meal trays and feed residentsTransport residents to various departments and activitiesCNAs observe and report the following:Changes in physical or mental condition of residentsNeed for social, emotional or spiritual assistanceBroken or unsafe equipment or furniturePertinent information affecting quality of careCNAs assist in maintaining clean, safe, attractive environment for residents including.Communicate with residents, families and staff in order to provide information on residents, to maintain continuity of care, to provide care for all needs, and to maintain good public relationsParticipate in meetings and staff development programs relating to improvement of care, policies, procedures and equipmentAssists with the training of new staffOther duties as assignedSign-On Bonuses:Full-time CNAs are eligible for sign-on bonuses in the following amounts: $1,000 at 3 months, 6 months, & one year of employment.Part-time CNAs are eligible for bonuses in half the amounts listed above.PRN CNAs, rehires within one year, and current employees are not eligible for sign-on bonuses.Employee must be employed at time of payout in order to be eligible for sign-on bonus.Ability to hear, see, and speak clearlyAbility to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in the English languageSuccessful completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant training courseMust be active and in good standing with the Illinois CNA RegistryPositive attitude and caring approach requiredMust be available to work every other weekend & rotating holidaysPhysical Requirements:Walking and standing most of the day is required. Frequent stooping, stretching, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling. Occasionally required to sit, use hands/fingers. Routinely required to lift and/or move up to 75lbs.
