Responsible for scheduling and coordination of work to expedite production or support particular objectives. Prepares production schedules and work orders. Allocates staffing, equipment, and materials. Prioritizes customer orders and revises production schedules as necessary. Overview: Are you looking for an exciting change of pace? Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: - Coordinating Production Workflow: Manage the flow of production for one or multiple products. This involves organizing tasks, ensuring timely execution, and minimizing delays.
- Resource Allocation: Determine the manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to meet production demand. Your goal is to optimize resource utilization.
- Shift Scheduling: Based on production needs, create schedules for shifts, ensuring continuous production without disruptions.
- Monitoring Progress: Keep a close eye on ongoing jobs to ensure they finish on time and within budget.
- Output Tracking: Gather information on finished products, defect rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Documentation: Maintain organized paperwork related to production processes. Required Qualifications:
- Production Knowledge: Excellent understanding of production planning and quality control principles.
- MRP Familiarity: Working knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning systems.
- Tech Proficiency: Demonstrates expertise in the use of Microsoft Office applications and experienced in navigating ERP systems to support business operations and data management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in resource allocation and scheduling.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams.
