Trauma Neuro ICU is a 26 bed unit that provides comprehensive and compassionate care for adults with a variety of Trauma and/or Neuro disease processes. This includes, but is not limited to: blunt force trauma, motor vehicle accidents, gun shots, stab wounds, brain trauma/injuries and stroke patients. We are a Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Mercy will support YOU toward specialty certifications, including TNCC and CCRN. This is a GREAT opportunity if you aspire to excel in Critical Care or pathway as a Nurse Anesthetist. Available Shifts (12s): Nights (7:00pm-7:30am) Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Physical requirements/demands:
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
