We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to support our global Customer Development (Sales) organization. In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing Customer Development domains data architecture. You will define how the data will be modeled, stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data.What you will do:Collaborate with IT, data governance teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's data strategy and global business requirementsDesign and implement robust data storage and retrieval solutions, utilizing tools such as Erwin or ER Studio, to meet organizational needsManage the integration and ingestion of external data sources, ensuring seamless data flow across various business applications and domainsEvaluate and refine database structures by analyzing current data, operational platforms, and applications to optimize performance and scalabilityEnsure database implementation practices adhere to both internal policies and external regulations, and provide detailed reports on database design and architecture to senior managementLead data migration projects from legacy systems to modern solutions, while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance data processes and systems, and providing comprehensive training to team membersWhat you will need (Required)Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldProven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar roleIn-depth understanding of database structure principlesExperience gathering and analyzing system requirementsKnowledge of data mining and segmentation techniquesProficiency/expertise in the following technologiesSQL and PythonDatabase management systems (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, MongoDBCloud services like Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake and SAPData visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js, and R).Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and good written and verbal communicationWhat you will need (Preferred)Masters degree in IT Systems or a related fieldCertifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or TOGAFBusiness Domain knowledge of Customer Development data (e.g. Pricing, Sell-in, Sell-out, Promotion)Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range $115,200.00 - $175,000.00 USDPay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location.
