A well-established dental group practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join its growing team. Compensation will be based on experience. **Office is withing walking distance from LIRR Station** Pay Range: $25.00 to $29.00/hour Dental Assistant A successful Dental Assistant will have the following skills and exhibit these behaviors:

• 1-2 years of prior dental assisting experience
• Working knowledge of Dentrix
• Positive and outgoing personality
• Exceptional verbal communication skills

    • Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
    • Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
    • Escort patients to and from the front desk
    • Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
