Outpatient Pharmacist - 8940*Ada, OK - Health - Full Time*_Posted 2 days ago - Apply before May 25, 2024_*Apply**Save*DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Full Time Outpatient Pharmacist to join our Outpatient Pharmacy Team team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.*Summary:*Provides outpatient clinical pharmacy services to beneficiaries.*Responsibilities:** Compounds and dispenses prescriptions, check drugs, dosages, dosage forms, labels and provides complete instructions on the correct use and storage of all medications* Monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications, therapeutic duplications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, drug-laboratory interactions, allergies, and appropriateness of drug and dose* Develops special formulas and/or extemporaneous compounds and provides drug distribution to patients* Provides drug information to Medical, Dental and Nursing staffs on therapy and drug related matters and patient education as to proper use of drugs and interprets medical information and applies it to resolve problems or answer questions* Provides clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners and documents all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely and detects, assesses, and reports suspected adverse drug reactions* Obtains medication histories from patients, caregivers, and health care providers* Maintains due diligence in evaluation of scheduled medications to prevent diversion or patient abuse*Competencies:*Essential:* Follow instructions, both written and oral* Adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Communicates verbally with team, departments, guests and management* Interpersonal skills to motivate, investigate, inspire* Maintains clear and complete employee health records*Skills:**Experience:*Essential:* No prior experience required.*Education:*Essential:* Doctor of Pharmacy*Credentials:*Essential:* Pass general background check* Basic Life Support* Oklahoma Registered Pharmacist License*Working Conditions:*Essential:* Fast-paced* Works in a pharmacy setting* Potential exposure to biohazards* Potential exposure to contagious diseases* Communications phone, computer* Communications written, verbal* May be required to assist individuals who are emotionally disturbed* Pass pre-employment drug test* Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach* Use computer up to 25% of shift* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* Standing up to 100% of shift* Walk up to 100% of shift#INDJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personby Jobble More...
