Our amazing team at Automaxx of the Carolinas in Summerville, SC for the next great step in your career! We're looking to hire a full-time Car Dealership Apprentice Locksmith to assist our licensed locksmiths as they install, service, and maintain both automotive and standard locks. This apprenticeship is full-time and typically works at our car dealership between the hours of 9 AM - 6 PM on weekdays and every other Saturday.

PAY AND BENEFITS

This position earns a competitive wage of $14 - $27.50/hour, depending on experience. We provide wonderful benefits, including medical, dental, vacation time, and a 401(k) with a 4% company match. YOUR DAY

Welcome to the team, Car Dealership Apprentice Locksmith! Prepare for an exhilarating ride as you join our crew of lock-busting heroes. Every day, you'll assist our licensed locksmiths, honing your skills on automotive and standard locks. But it's not all work and no play! You'll also get hands-on experience copying keys, re-keying, picking locks, and cutting to code. And hey, hold onto your hat because we're talking high-tech stuff too - automotive keys and transponders are your playground! With your meticulous nature, you'll keep those timesheets in check, track service calls, and even manage our inventory. So buckle up and get ready for an apprenticeship filled with excitement, new discoveries, and the satisfaction of being an invaluable member of our car dealership's locksmithing team!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Experience with lock mechanisms and systems, including automotive locks
• Experience with key equipment
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
