Job Title: Regional Director of Sales &OperationsReports To:VP of Operations FLSA Status: Salary ExemptType of Position: Full Time EffectiveDate: 7/24/2023JobSummary:Ensures all stores comply with all security, safety, and loss prevention procedures and liaises with Risk &Loss Prevention to address gaps/needsAllocatestime between theoffice and the field (roughly a 50/50 split) to effectively hold District/Area Managers accountable for ensuring locationsare meeting expectations and coaches team as neededCoordinates with Ops Leadership, Legal, HR, and Risk &Loss Prevention to investigate and address workplaceincidentsEnsures all locationsare passing operational and safety inspections and are meeting standards for appearance and brand standards, coordinating with the Fuel Brand Manager and Food Service Leadership as neededRegularly monitorsmaintenance requests in Mpulse and coordinates with Maintenance andFacilities to escalate significant repair and maintenanceneeds to ensure they are addressed in a timely mannerReviews customer complaints received through RefuelListens and is responsible for timely and appropriate resolutionRegional Director of Sales & OperationsEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Human ResourcesRecruits, interviews, hires, andtrains new staff.FinancialTakes proactive measuresto prevent and resolve inventorylosses caused by theft oraccounting errors and investigates significant shrinkissuesResponsible foroverall profitability of store locationsincluding sales, gross profit dollars and margins,shrink, payroll,and expensesRegional Directorof Sales and OperationsRequiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strongunderstanding of convenience store and restaurant business, general management,and financial acumen.Abilityto write, analyze, and evaluate operating reports, Profit and Loss statements,internal and external.Businesscorrespondence in a clear and concise manner.Abilityto relate to a diverse workforce and can effectively influence othersthroughout the organization.Abilityto work independently and as a team player to leverage relations to accomplishgoals.Highlyadaptable to change.Strongorganizational and time management skills are critical.Proficiencyin MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel); ability and willingness to learnPowerPoint.Demonstrateability to work on-call scheduleCleandriving record.Demonstrateproblem-solving and time management skills.Ensures stores are compliantwith state and local licensing requirements (e.g., occupancy, health& safety permits;tobacco, alcohol, and lottery licensing)Ensures store management is maintaining appropriate inventorylevels and ordersare placed on a regular scheduleEnsures stores are maintaining updated planograms and promotional marketingper the direction of the Marketing teamReviews out-of-stocks and corrects stockingissues as needed stores should alwaysbe well-stocked with merchandiseEnsures store pricing is up-to-date and corrects pricingissues as needed by working with the PricebookteamEducation andExperience:5-7years of successful multi-district operations or equivalent experience in theindustry.Highschool diploma or equivalentSupervisory Responsibilities:Regularly assessesand has plans to address talent gaps, for both existing and or futureleadership needsPlans in place toteach, coach, educate and develop DMs/AMs empowering them to achieve intendedoutcomesConducts formal performance reviews with DMs/AMs on an annualbasis; provides regular, ongoing feedbackWorkingenvironment and physical requirements:Prolongedperiods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must beable to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Travel: Must be able to travel up to 75%.At-Will Employment: Thisposition is at-will, which means that either the employee or the Company mayterminate employment at any time, with or without advance notice, and with orwithout cause.EEO Statement: Refuel is anequal opportunity employment employer to all applicants and team members.
