*Job Summary:*We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in Lawrenceburg, TN. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment using MIG welding techniques. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development._*Click link https://tinyurl.com/24cd583v to chat with our virtual assistant and schedule an interview.*_*Duties:*- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the project requirements- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using MIG welding processes- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs- Perform basic machining tasks such as drilling, tapping, grinding, and deburring- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently- Adhere to all safety protocols and codes standards to ensure a safe working environment- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality products*Qualifications:*- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication techniques- Familiarity with machining processes such as drilling, tapping, grinding, and deburring- Ability to operate power tools and equipment effectively and safely- Knowledge of welding codes standards and practices- Ability to weld various metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate welds- Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamWe offer competitive pay rates based on experience.*About The Job Shoppe US:*The Job Shoppe is an international full-service Human Resource Firm that was recently recognized as one of the Top Workplaces in 2021 by the Tennessean.
