Take the first step towards an enriching career journey with NTA and apply today!NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled, motivated, experienced Senior Level Software Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. Duties will include the development of real-time software in support of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) test capabilities. These HWIL testbeds will support the design and integration of US Army rocket and missile systems. As a senior engineer, you will be given the freedom to design creative solutions to complex technical problems. Ideal candidates will be proficient in real-time programming techniques (primarily in C/C++) and will also enjoy making architectural-level design decisions. Applicants should be detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and be able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.Education and Experience: - Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 10 + years of experience in a relevant fieldRequired:
- Experience with object-oriented software development in C++
- Experience with low-level systems programming in C
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat
- Independent and self-motivated, problem solver, strategic thinker
- High level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office SuiteDesired:
- Experience with real-time systems and software
- Experience managing a small team of developers
- Experience with HWIL simulations and/or embedded systems
- Experience with Linux kernel module and device driver development
- Experience with version control software and issue tracking (specifically git and GitLab)Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.What We Offer
