We're seeking a candidate to develop embedded software for our commercial product team-securing systems at the lowest levels. Potential candidates should be talented, motivated, and forward-thinking individuals who enjoy systems-level security engineering. Required Skills Include: Experience with C/C++ development Knowledge of OS internals (Linux) Experience with System and application debugging Experience with Source version control systems (git, svn) Familiarity with assembly (x86, x86_64) and function calling conventions Experience leading and delivering software products to commercial and/or government customers Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Test-Driven, etc) Experience with bash scripting Experience with Kernel/Driver development Experience with source version control system (git, svn) Desired: Familiarity with build systems (Make, CMake, etc.) Familiarity with assembly (non-x86, x86_64) and function calling conventions Experience with building/configurating Linux kernel, Redhat, Yocto Linux Familiarity with TPM and Secure Boot technologies Familiarity with Security Concepts (Cryptography, privilege separation, etc) Familiarity with DOD System Security Engineering and standards (RMF, Cyber Resiliency, Anti-Tamper, etc. ) Familiarity with other Operating Systems (Windows, VxWorks, ThreadX, Green Hills, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) 8 years of relevant experience Our ideal candidate is someone with great technical and problem-solving skills, a motivated personality, and a high degree of creativity! The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
