Patient Preparation: Get patients ready for exams and treatments by gathering important assessment data, both objective and subjective, to ensure smooth and efficient care. -
Team Collaboration: Be an active and valued member of the interdisciplinary care team, contributing insights and input to care decisions. -
Direct Patient Care: Provide hands-on care, including administering medications and immunizations, performing venipuncture, conducting health screenings, taking vital signs, running tests, and assisting with other patient care activities. -
Accurate Documentation: Record all patient care activities while adhering to regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance and high standards. -
Patient Communication: Share test results and other information with patients, as directed by the primary care practitioner, ensuring clarity and compassion. -
Care Coordination: Assist patients with referrals and coordinate their care with other providers to ensure a seamless healthcare experience. -
Clinical Maintenance: Keep clinical supplies and equipment organized, stocked, and ready for use. -
Problem Solving: Address routine questions and issues efficiently, escalating complex concerns to appropriate team members when necessary. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: Level I - Associate's degree or equivalent in a technical or scientific field relevant to nursing. Level II- Associate's degree or equivalent in a technical or scientific field relevant to nursing. plus 2 years experience relevant to nursing. Substitutions allowed for Experience: When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience. Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications Minimum Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of nursing practices, processes, methods and procedures
