Student Assistants play a vital role in the life of our office and will work with our staff to provide support for orientation programs; Camp War Eagle (CWE) and Successfully Orienting Students (SOS), also Learning Communities and First Year Seminars. - Accurately complete data entry related to our programs including confidential student information.
- Manage First Year Experience (FYE) mailings and email account.
- Answer the phone and serve as a resource to callers and/or guests in the FYE office.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by staff members.
- Assist with general office tasks such as mailing, copying, shredding, running errands etc.
- Provide support during FYE programs (may include early/late hours).
Minimum Qualifications - Student Assistants must be full-time, undergraduate students at Auburn University and be available to work summer 2025.
Expectations: - Applicants should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as comfortable handling multiple tasks.
- A desire to provide good customer service and the ability to adhere to confidentiality are necessary.
- Excellent communication skills (strong English skills required).
