This system is used to protect the US and our allies from air and missile threats. This program is used to integrate numerous air and missile defense systems (THAAD, PATRIOT, PAC-3, IFPC) with various radars and sensors to effectively manage and operate these defensive weapon systems through a seamless battlefield management system.These positions require US citizenship, an existing DoD clearance (Secret or higher), and on-site work at a facility in Huntsville, Alabama (telework is not available).**** This position is contingent upon receipt of additional fundingJob Description:The successful candidate will perform network engineering activities supporting all phases of systems development in the areas of Network Engineering as a Computer Systems Architect. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Support the design and implementation of network architecture
- Lead scheduled maintenance of the different Network IOS
- Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for networking devices
- Perform routine network administration tasks as neededBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree with 2 years of experience; or 0 years of relevant experience with a Masters (MS) degree, or additional years in lieu of a degree.
- DoD 8570 Security certification such as Sec+, CASP, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 network design, including IP subnetting and protocols including BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.Preferred Qualifications:
