A company is looking for an L2 IBM Service Support Technician to provide technical support for IBM systems.



Key Responsibilities

Provide L2 technical support and troubleshooting for IBM systems, including servers and storage solutions
Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance, including firmware updates and backups
Respond to incidents and service requests, adhering to established SLAs and documenting all actions taken


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or 5+ years of relevant experience
5+ years of experience in L2 technical support, specifically with IBM systems
IBM Certified Specialist (e.g., IBM Power Systems, IBM Storage) is preferred
ITIL v3/v4 certification for service/incident management
