  Job Details
  • Registered Nurse specializing in LONG TERM CARE
  • Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements)
  • Shift: 3x12 Days (7am-7:30pm)
  • Ratios: 8:1 days; 13:1 nights
  • Travel experience is preferred
  • Weekend REQ: TBD
  • Open to accommodating block schedule: TBD
  • RTO Restrictions: For the 8 week contract, no RTO allowed
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: CVA, Dementia, RA, Afib, Hip fx, Parkinsons, BKA, PNA, COPD, Huntington's dx
  • Common Equipment: Hoyer lift, SARA lift, tube feeding pump, IV pump
    Job Requirements
    • 2 years of Nursing home/LTC or Home Health preferred but not required
    • 1-year Epic experience is preferred
    • First-Timers Accepted: Yes
    • Locals Accepted: No
    • Pending License Accepted: Yes
    • Skills REQ: IV Insertion, PICC Lines

      • Shift: 3x12 Days (7am-7:30pm)

        • This is an LTC unit; however, it functions more like an LTAC or step-down unit
        • We do not take trach patients, acute rehab, TPN, Bi-PAP, etc
        • We use a Pyxis medication system and do not use MedPacks
