Summary:As a part of the Food and Beverage team; F&B Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of operating successful tours in their assigned Independent Business Unit, including productivity and profitability. The Alaska's wildest kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for reporting tour activity to management and holding their unit responsible for the highest quality customer service and tour delivery. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct all activities and decisions according to Icy Strait Point's guiding principles: Best, Authentic and Profitable Tour Destination.Excursion Supervisors will hire, train and supervise a specific team of employees whose function is to deliver high quality tours within their Independent Business Unit.Ensures customer service standards are met in assigned unitEnsures high quality and delivery of tour contentEnsures compliance with state and federal laws as related to their unitConducts weekly safety meetings related to their unitResponsible for keeping unit morale highExcursion Supervisors will be asked to identify seasonal goals for their unitExcursion Supervisors must be willing to work together to ensure the success of the departmentAs the Culinary Supervisor, you will also perform the duties as the Culinary Host and Culinary Prep as needed.Other duties as assigned Requirements:Minimum 5 years working in tourism industry, preferably in Alaska, with emphasis in operations and guest services.Minimum 3 years' experience managing staff.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and aptitude for learning other computer programs.Outstanding customer service philosophy and practices.3 years experience in culinary, ideally with seafoodHigh school or equivalent education with college degree preferred.
