MLS Laboratory Educator - $25K Sign-on Bonus & $10K Relocation Bonus! Location: Sitka AK Type: Full-time, Regular Employee, HourlyAre you passionate about laboratory science and education? Join our team as a Laboratory Educator and assist staff within the consortium with learning aspects of laboratory testing, quality control, systems software, and quality improvement. You'll maintain competency in the laboratory and oversee training of staff to ensure clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Training & Education: Provide clinical instruction, mentoring, and leadership in various settings, including orientation, new equipment/processes training, and competency validation. Quality Assurance: Manage Performance Improvement/QA functions and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Clinical Leadership: Serve as a clinical leader, consultant, and educator for clinical and technical practice within laboratory services. Support & Compliance: Assist senior and operational leaders with maintaining clinical excellence standards and monitoring compliance. Laboratory Operations: Perform automated and manual testing, assist with new equipment implementation, and complete validation studies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent degree required. Certifications: ASCP, AMT, or other laboratory certification required.
