Compensation: DOE, plus bonus and commission potentialStep into Leadership at Icy Strait Point!Icy Strait Point is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Lead Sales Specialist to oversee our tour sales operations and ensure guests have an exceptional experience. • Support the Tour Sales Supervisor in overseeing daily tour sales operations.
• Lead by example to deliver excellent customer service to all Icy Strait Point guests.
• Train, mentor, and guide Tour Sales Representatives to meet performance goals.
• Assist guests with booking tours and provide detailed information about available excursions.
• Coordinate guest orientations, including line control and tour preparations.
• Monitor and address guest feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with team members, tour guides, drivers, and management.
• Assist with promotional activities, including distributing literature and selling merchandise.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.What You Bring:
  • Leadership experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • A willingness to learn about Tlingit culture and incorporate it into guest interactions.
  • Knowledge of local wildlife, plants, and landmarks (preferred).
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • A commitment to safety and attention to detail.
  • Must be 18 years or older and eligible for a safety-sensitive position.Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
    • Willing to live and work in a remote, rural community.
    • Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from a remote location.
    • Able to work on gravel roads and in various weather conditions.
