If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy working with people from all over the world, this position is for you!What You'll Do:Support the Tour Sales Supervisor in overseeing daily tour sales operations.Lead by example to deliver excellent customer service to all Icy Strait Point guests.Train, mentor, and guide Tour Sales Representatives to meet performance goals.Assist guests with booking tours and provide detailed information about available excursions.Coordinate guest orientations, including line control and tour preparations.Monitor and address guest feedback to ensure satisfaction.Communicate effectively with team members, tour guides, drivers, and management.Assist with promotional activities, including distributing literature and selling merchandise.Perform additional duties as assigned.What You Bring:Leadership experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.A willingness to learn about Tlingit culture and incorporate it into guest interactions.Knowledge of local wildlife, plants, and landmarks (preferred).Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask and thrive in a team-oriented environment.A commitment to safety and attention to detail.Must be 18 years or older and eligible for a safety-sensitive position.Physical Requirements & Work Environment:Willing to live and work in a remote, rural community.Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from a remote location.Able to work on gravel roads and in various weather conditions.Capable of moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.Why Work at Icy Strait Point?Icy Strait Point is a Native-owned and operated enterprise, offering authentic Alaskan experiences in a stunning setting.
