Hours: Full Time Night Shift (40 Hours Weekly) In collaboration with the management team focuses on daily department operations. Supervises personnel and coordinates activities of Nursing. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the mission of philosophy of the Providence Health System. Serves as a role model for nurses, physicians, and department support staff, exhibiting the Core Values in all activities. Mentors under the Clinical Manager / Director and pursues management and leadership training within the Providence Alaska Learning Institute. May be assigned to special projects per Clinical Manager / Director consistent with strategic, fiscal, and operational goals/targets. In collaboration with management, coordinates the team to deliver patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and care model. Functions as the clinical & operating resource with designated hours of accountability exercising independent judgment. Assists with business plans, fiscal accountability, and clinical and resource utilization. Fosters change, and teamwork. - Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Three (3) years Clinical experience.
- One (1) year Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience. Supervisory experience may include leading teams in performance improvement activities. Charge nurse, resource nurse, or similar experience may count for up to two years of the required experience Preferred Qualifications:
