  Job Details
  • Specialty: MST / Multi Care Unit - 617170
  • Care levels handled within one unit
  • # of beds: 10
  • Ratios depend on patient acuity: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6
  • Must have at least 2 years of ICU experience or 1 year ICU and 1 year PCU/Medsurg in larger facilities with strong skills
  • RNs required to titrate drips
  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips include sedation, vasopressors, insulin
  • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor handles 50 inpatient beds
  • RT Equipment: Vents, Bipap, Cpap
  • RNs read strips and must take 12-lead EKG
  • ICU patients are monitored per Bedside Cardiac monitor
  • Experience with Remote Monitor Techs
  • Charge RN manages ICU patients
    Job Requirements
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
    • At least 2 years of ICU experience or equivalent
    • Ability to titrate drips
    • Comfortable with Reading remote tele and taking 12-lead EKGs
      Schedule Information
      • 12-hour shifts: 0700/1900 - 1930/0730
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
      • Holiday Rotation
      • Low census may lead to standby rotations
