Linde also delivers state-of-the-art gas processing solutions to support customer expansion, efficiency improvements and emissions reductions.Job Overview:The Linde Production Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of an Air Separation Process at our plant in Phoenix, AZ. This is a challenging and rewarding job that requires the employee to have problem-solving capabilities in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and production processes.Production Technicians must demonstrate initiative and self-motivation and be able to work with minimal supervision. Will be responsible for a variety of complex operations and production duties in an ISO/FDA/QA air separation environment where products include oxygen, nitrogen and argon. This position requires a combination of office work and field work. Responsibilities require 12 hour shift rotation with scheduled overtime. Working extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be required.Primary Responsibilities: - Monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations, troubleshooting, and product testing. Must know when to call other specialists when more serious malfunctions occur.
- Startup, shut down and operate production equipment as necessary.
- Plan and execute operations and maintenance tasks for assigned plant(s) including lock-out tag-out, correctly and safely permitting maintenance work
- Purchasing of materials and/or services such as contractors
- Monthly plant billing, documentation, reports, and other administrative duties
- The candidates will operate the plants from computer. Repair and diagnostic troubleshooting required.
- Job requires working outdoors year-round, climbing 200' tall columns, some heavy lifting, using man-lifts and fork-lifts.
