Job Details - A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience and an active AZ license or compact. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
Job Requirements - Travelers must have 2+ years of current tele experience.
- COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
- Travelers must be able to titrate drips.
- Must be able to interpret EKGs.
- Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units and may require floating to ICU, Cardiac Tele as well as other units.
Schedule Information - Travelers will have a 12 hr shifts schedule, from 7-7.
- Floating is required to similar or lower acuity units.
- Floor specific orientation includes 2 days on the floor.
Unit Specific Information - Unit specifics differ per unit including MedSurg, CV Tele, Tele Neuro, and more with details like bed counts, nurse-to-patient ratios, weekend requirements, shift details, and common diagnosis/types of patients across various units.
- For Telemetry Units, nurses must be able to interpret EKGs.
- Floating may occur based on skill level.
