Job Title:AAB Operations Manager ILocation:AZ - Chandler 3075What you'll do:The Operations Manager - Relationship Banking will manage daily HOA banking operations, ensuring smooth workflow, efficiency, and adherence to applicable policies and procedures. An HOA banking operations team consists of HOA Relationship Bankers who are the main points of contact for homeowner associations and community management business customers or the teams that make the banker successful. The manager will oversee the bankers or teams and handle tasks like setting goals and objectives, liaising with clients, ensuring transactions are done timely, correctly, and resolving issues. They prepare status reports, handle calls and correspondence, and process documentation. The manager will support HOA Operations and Sales to build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders and grow relationships by providing excellent customer service in support of business profitability and deposit goals. - Direct bankers how to properly support daily HOA banking operations such as new and closed account requests, account maintenance, research, transaction processing, ICS and CDAR processing, assistance with wires, ACH services, lockbox, and Positive Pay.
- Supports the team completing research and resolving adjustment items created by missing transactions, encoding errors, listing errors, misreads, etc.
- Maintains strong understanding of all HOA bank products and services provided to AAB clients and integrations to client external accounting software.
- Collaborate with AAB Sales to build trust and enhance the customer relationship by identifying, recommending, and delivering bank treasury management products/service opportunities in support of customer and business line profitability and bank deposit goals
- Banker in support role collaborates with Sales how to properly supports a customer's unique requests.
- Collaborates with customers to manage difficult situations that may have a negative impact on their business.
- Evaluate individual performance and overall team effectiveness, including setting SMART goals and providing timely performance feedback.
- Ensure adherence to AAB risk management guidelines, processes and tracking of KRI's. Test risk controls, as directed.
- Ensure bankers follow and support fraud control procedures, and support customers and Fraud Control team to actively mitigate bank and customer risk of monetary loss.
- Drive and support the development of internal and customer user guides, desktop, and department procedures.
- Support alignment of goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives. Identify and manage adoption, usage, and reinforcement of change. Provide leadership and direction to enhance effectiveness of change.
- Ensure customers are provided with post-implementation and training support once on-boarding and software transitions are completed.
- Recruits, selects, hires, and supports training of bankers or support team members.
- Prepare, equip, and support existing and future managers.
- Manages and/or supports small to medium projects of moderate complexity and drives results toward successful achievement of objectives.What you'll need:
