The candidate will work in a highly collaborative and diverse team of engineers and leaders.--- -What You Will Do - - - Software development - Collaborate with stakeholders, define new applications or features, and develop efficient and scalable code to implement (primarily using Ignition). -
- System integration - Connection and data management with factory devices (equipment, sensors, torque controllers, vision systems, robots, etc.). - - -
- Machine control - Support the internal development of automation equipment including machine interfaces, recipe management, and data management. - - -
- Scope of software solutions for smart factory applications include smart workstations, equipment integration and control, recipe management, Andon systems, process data collection, and machine vision applications. - - -Qualifications You Must Have - - -
- Typically requires BS in an Engineering field or the sciences (STEM)
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations/engineering, software engineering systems engineering, controls engineering, and/or automation engineering; or 3+ years with an advanced STEM degree in Engineering. -
- Proficiency in software development using a combination of tools such as Ignition, SQL, Python, C#, .NET, HTML5. -
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus/TCP, MQTT, Ethernet IP, SECS/GEM, etc. - - -
- Experience diagnosing hardware and network-related issues effectively. -
- -The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer - -
