Job Details - THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
- The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience and hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and AZ license or compact license.
- Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed.
- Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage.
Job Requirements - A FULL 3 YEARS OF RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
- Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV.
- UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required
- Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
- COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
Schedule Information - Self scheduling.
- Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs.
- Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
- Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday. Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday.
- Holiday Requirements: May have 1 holiday off in an assignment
Unit Specific Information - Unit: Medical ICU - Medical Cardiac + Overflow
- Charge Nurse: Yes, do not take patients
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes, 24/7
- RT in ICU 24/7: Yes
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Level 1 trauma Center, sepsis, ARDS, etc.
