My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller with experience in manufacturing to join their Phoenix team. This role is critical in managing our company's financial operations and ensuring the financial reporting is accurate.Client DetailsThe company is a large organization in the manufacturing industry, with operations across the United States. It has a strong presence in its market and is recognized for its commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.DescriptionResponsibilities:

• The Controller will oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

  • A thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with creating financial statements.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A CPA or related qualification.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage both up and down.
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems and advanced excel.
  • Solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills.Job Offer
