• Employment Type: Per DiemSurgical Tech Per Diem Days Position SummaryPosition prepares operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate techniques. Provides technical services and assists in other areas as assigned and directed.--- Position assists in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performance of routine and delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department.--- Performs scrub duties and related procedures and provides assistance in emergency procedures as well as scheduled and emergency cases.---Call is required for this position - must reside within a 30 minute call time of facility.SPECIAL SKILLS:---Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills.THE SURGICAL TECH PER DIEM DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.MINIMUM EDUCATION:---High school graduate or equivalent GED for all current employees.
