Certification Details - BLS

- NIHSS (considering Tele Neuro specialty)
Job Details - The right candidate will have 2 years of experience.
- Travelers are required to complete a dysrhythmia exam prior to start.
- A pass/fail Sim lab is required on day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions).
- Proof of COVID vaccine is required prior to start or declination form can be filled out with appropriate supporting documentation.
Job Requirements - 2 years of experience is required.
- Active BLS, ACLS, and AZ license or compact are mandatory.
- Travel experience is essential.
- CERNER experience is a must.
Schedule Information - Contract length is 13 weeks.
- Shifts are 12 hours, from 7 to 7.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, could be every 3rd.
- Holidays: Work into permanent staff rotation.
Unit Specific Information - Unit: Tele Neuro 2B
- Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
- Ratios: 1:4 ratio
- Floating: Cardiac Tele and/or MedSurg Onc
- Floor specific orientation: 3 shifts on the floor.
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: CVA post TPA, basic gtts to titrate down, TIAs, head bleeds, carotids, thoracotomies, AICDs, post surgicals requiring tele.
