TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224 Pay Information $1,907 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry Float Pool Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights; 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Sat/Sun); Must work 2 of 3 major holidays Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to titrate cardiac drips; Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with 2 max attempts) and a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation. Job Description: - Floating between all Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units is required. - Possible floating to ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, as well as all Telemetry units, Medical-Surgical departments, and various holding areas. - Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hours prior to shift start; rare but possible floating to another campus during a single shift. - Distance between campuses is approximately 9 miles; must clock-out when leaving one campus and clock-in upon arrival at the other campus. - Work on various units with specified certifications and patient ratios. - Orientation includes floor-specific training. - Expectation to work with centralized telemetry and interpret EKGs. - Must handle common diagnoses and patient types related to telemetry, neuro, and medical-surgical units. - Scrub color: Navy - Hospitalists available for consultations and in-house coverage; no IV team, but respiratory and pharmacy services are available 24/7. - Participate in the rotation of weekends and holidays as per the requirement. 26028193EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new facilities and teams challenges your problem-solving skills.
