TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Gilbert, Arizona, 85297 Pay Information $1,907 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: ED Holds/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 4 Weekend Shifts/4-Week Schedule Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years - Ability to decrease cardiac drips per physician's orders and parameters - Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start - Must pass a simulation lab on day one of orientation Job Description: - Travelers must possess tele skills; tele exam and simulation lab are required - Unit consists of ED holds waiting for placement, primarily MS/Tele patients - Nurses will care for more telemetry patients as opposed to medical - RNs will be required to titrate drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone - No vents; must be able to read and interpret strips as there are no monitor techs in the ED - Shift schedule allows for self-scheduling; however, this can change - Weekend requirement is 4 shifts per 4-week schedule - Holiday requirement rotates in with the permanent staff - Floating may be required to med/surg/tele/overflow units and sister facilities - Navy scrubs are required - Two shifts orientation to Med/Surg/Tele at the primary campus - Will assist with ED patients, including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration but will not be the primary RN for ED patient assignments - Hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract with potential full hour pay for a shift instead of cancellation - Uses Cerner charting system Please ensure you meet all requirements listed and have the necessary skills and certifications to apply. 26788477EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Each assignment introduces you to new colleagues, mentors, and professionals in the healthcare industry.
